Overview

This tour covers cities like Delhi, Agra and Jaipur which combine together to make the golden triangle of India and also the oldest inhabited city of the world, Varanasi. Your tour will become most memorable with our special arrangements, along with a private air-conditioned car, and you can also stop for breaks and to capture some beautiful frames en-route.

DAY 01: Arrive Delhi

On arrival at Delhi, you will be greeted by our representative in Indian style who will further accompany you to your hotel. Night stay at hotel.

DAY 02: Delhi

Have breakfast in the morning and set out for a guided tour of the capital city. Delhi is full of places which attracts tourists from all over the world. The most prominent ones are Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana – the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawahar Lal Nehru. Visit to the Old Delhi is a must as it gives you glimpses of the era when the city was under the Mughal reign. Visit to the Jama Masjid, Red Fort and Chandni Chowk, the delicacies at Chandni Chowk are mouth-watering. In the afternoon, visit the historical sites of Delhi like Qutub Minar, the tallest minaret of India, Humanyun’s Tomb, India Gate. The grandeur of President House is worth watching and if you visit during spring, you will get the chance to visit the floral beauty of Mughal gardens. Night stay at hotel.

DAY 03: Delhi - Jaipur

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Jaipur. On arrival in Jaipur check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel. Capital of Rajasthan Jaipur was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh in 1728 A.D. It is also called Pink City because most houses in old city are pink colored. The city is surrounded by thick wall 20 feet high and 9 feet wide with eight gates. Ajmeri gate and the Sanganeri gate in the south, Chand Pole gate in west and the Ghat Darwaja in the east are the main gates. The city is surrounded by the hills except in the southwest. Fort and the temples can be seen on the hills.

Leave for Jaipur after breakfast. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel at Jaipur where you will rest for the night. This pink city of Rajasthan was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh who was an astronomer. Jaipur is sheer in history and culture. Here the past comes alive in splendid forts and grand palaces, where once lived the maharajas. The lively bazaars of Jaipur, famous for Rajasthani jewellery, fabric and shoes, possess a timeless quality and are surely a treasure-trove for the shoppers.

DAY 04 : Jaipur

After breakfast, visit to the Amer Fort. The prominent feature of this excursion is the Elephant ride. In the afternoon, visit to the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal and Birla Temple. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 05: Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra

After having breakfast, drive to Agra visiting Fatehpur Sikri enroute. You cannot miss this architectural splendor of Mughal art while visiting Agra. This Mughal city is in ruins now but still offers beautiful sights; especially the view of this city over the sunset is mesmerizing. Upon arrival at Agra, check-in at your hotel and stay overnight at hotel.

DAY 06: Agra

An early morning excursion to the seventh wonder of the world, Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal is considered the finest example of Mughal architecture, a style that combines elements from Persian, Indian, and Islamic architectural styles. This mousoleum is more like an awe-inspiring poetry in marble stands high and serene by the banks of the River Yamuna.

After having an energetic breakfast, visit Agra fort. Made in red sandstone, this mughal fort is also known as the Red Fort. Also visit Itmad-ud-Daulah, this tomb was built by Noor Jehan for her father Ghias-ud-Din Beg. In the evening, visit the local market for shopping and then leave for railway station from where you will board the train to Varanasi.

DAY 07: Agra - Varanasi (By Overnight Train)

Reach the holy land of Varanasi at early morning. Our representative will meet you and assist till hotel. Move out in the afternoon for local sightseeing. Evening time is at leisure. Night stay to hotel.

DAY 08: Varanasi

Varanasi is renowned for its divine ghats at the River Ganges. In the morning, have a boat cruise in which you can observe pilgrims performing rituals and praying. Return to the hotel for breakfast. After the tranquil time at the ghats, take your time to explore the various ashrams and temples of the Varanasi on your own. Night stay at hotel.

DAY 09: Varanasi - Delhi

After morning breakfast, you will be transferred to domestic airport to board the flight for Delhi.

After reaching Delhi, you will be assisted to the international airport by our representative for your further journey.
