This 6-day travel plan will take you down the beautiful spots in Delhi, Shimla and Manali. Delhi has always inspired emperors of all times and has been the capital of all empires at some point of time. Its rich heritage and cultural history will enthrall you.

Shimla and Manali are not only about ecstatic views and sceneries. Soak in some fresh breeze and get mesmerized by the towering oak forests and snow-white hills. Both the spots have historically significant temples and places of interests. Besides these, you can also enjoy various adventure sports which will enrapture you throughout your trip.

Day 1 - Explore the heart of India: Delhi

Capital of India welcomes you aboard for its rich Mughal culture and ancient arts. On the first day, have a visit to Qutab Minar which was constructed by ancient swayers of Delhi. Qutab Minar is a 72.5 meter high tower beauty. After finishing lunch get ahead to visit the 42 meter high India Gate which is dedicated to the unknown soldiers who fought for India. It is also known as Bharat Gate. In the evening you can stop by at Rashtrapathi Bhawan and Parliament House. Finish the day with a night stay in Delhi. 

Day 2 - Delhi adventure continues

After breakfast, start your day by visiting Safdarjung's Tomb, one of the finest example of Mughal aesthetic architecture. Leave to Tughlakabad Fort after lunch to get mesmerized with another art conceived by the Mughals. In the evening visit the Memorial of Mahatma Gandhi (Raj Ghat). Before the dark evening starts, visit the popularly known Red Fort (Lal Quila) in Delhi. It was established by the Mughal ruler Shah Jahan. Day finishes with a night stay in Delhi.  

Day 3 - Delhi to Shimla

Shimla is well connected with all the major cities in India. The British addressed Shimla as the Queen of Hill Stations. From Delhi, you can either go by road or take a flight to Shimla. Taking a route by road is much better than a flight as it gives you chance to take a slow ride through the beauty of Shimla and its surroundings. After checking in your hotel, get fresh and have a small brunch. Get ahead for sight seeing which will leave you spell bound. The enamouring Wildflower Hall, Indira Holiday Home and beguiling Museum give a trip down the lane of the ancient history of Shimla. Dinner and overnight stay in Shimla. 

Day 4 - Shimla: The captivating hills and sights

Shimla is exactly located in the north-West Himalayan Mountains. Shimla descends its name from the word Shyamala (Goddess Kali). In the morning let your day ahead for enjoying the eye refreshing and divining drive to Kalbadevi Temple, Jakhu Temple and Hanuman Temple. Christ Church in Shimla, which was built in the 1850, is waiting to thrill you with its beautiful stained-glass – windows. If you are an adventure freak, you can head for trekking, rowing or paragliding. After finishing your lunch, take an outing to Kufri which is 30 minutes far away from Shimla. If you are a horse riding lover then you can take a horse ride in the apple orchids in the evening at Kurfi. Never forget to visit Fagu if you are a nature lover. Night stay in Shimla will be the best option.

Day 5 - Shimla to Manali

In the morning, get ahead to Manali after having breakfast. Manali is also greeted as the Switzerland of India. It takes 7-8 hrs of journey to reach majestic Manali from Shimla. Never forget to capture the scenic beauties on camera when you travel to Manali. Way to Manali from Shimla is filled with eye robbing natural scenic splendour. Overnight stay, dinner and a campfire in Manali will be a memorable experience.

Day 6 - Explore Manali

After breakfast, start your day by visiting the ancient Hadimba Temple. Take a tour to the Rishi vashisht temple and the hot springs. Rahala falls and Rozi falls are worth a visit. After lunch, depart for snow stage along the Rohtang Pass. Never forget to take warm clothes like hand gloves, scarf, sweater & sports shoes. Manali has a lot of club houses where we can relax and enjoy your time with nature.  Besides this, you can also enjoy various adventure sports like paragliding, mountaineering and skiing. In the evening you can visit some of the finest shopping centers where you can buy unique varieties of clothes. Dinner and overnight stay in Manali.

Day 7 - Bid adieu to Manali

After breakfast, take a route back to Delhi. As you go back keep your camera handy for some ecstatic views enroute. Your 6 day holiday trip ends here.
