According to Hindu Mythology, it is believed that Lord Shiva resides in the Kailash and everyone must take on this pilgrimage atleast once in their lives, which is the only way to attain nirvana. Lies in the Tibetan region, the Kailash Mansarovar is famous for its eternal beauty but more famous for the spiritual experience it gives to its visitors. While on this tour we will pass on many places like Delhi, Kathmandu, Nepalgunj, Simikot, Hilsa, Taklakot, the Kailash Mansarovar, tarboche, Driraphuk, Zutulphuk and Tirthapuri.

Day 01: Delhi - Kathmandu - Nepalgunj

We will leave for Kathmandu from Delhi and then further for Nepalgunj from Kathamandu. Overnight stay at hotel in Nepalgunj.

Day 02: Nepalgunj - Simikot

In the morning, we will leave for Simikot, which is situated at an approx altitude of 9,800 feet from the sea level. Since Simikot is on a very high altitude, it takes time to become accustomed with the environment. To spend the night, there will be an arrangement of camp.

Day 03: Simikot - Hilsa

To make your journey easier, you will fly down to Hilsa in a charter helicopter. Hilsa is at the border of Nepal and Tibet; from there you will need to trek for half an hour to reach the awaiting jeeps, which will further take you to Taklakot. Adapt yourself to the surroundings and stay overnight at guest house.

Day 04: Taklakot - Mansarovar

After a journey of around 3 hours, we will reach our destination, the Kailash Mansarovar. You can choose to stay overnight in the tents or a guest house.

Day 05: Mansarovar

Though situated on high altitude with lack of oxygen, the holy Lake Mansarovar is famous for its exceptional beauty and looks positively magical in the sheer moonlight. We will reach the starting point of Mansarovar Parikrama by jeep but the path will be covered on foot. Enjoy your dinner and overnight stay in the tents or guest house.

Day 06: Tarboche - Driraphuk

Have your breakfast at the cock-crow hour and get ready to leave for Tarboche, the initial point for the Kailash Parikrama. From Tarboche to Driraphuk, the distance will be covered by trekking. You will be provided with the meals while on the journey. Overnight stay in camp/guest house.

Day 07: Driraphuk - Zutulphuk

Have an early breakfast and trek all the way up to Zutulphuk via the Dolma Pass adoring the pictorial beauty of the mountains on the way. (Dolma Pass is the highest point of the entire journey, at an altitude of 5750 m). From Driraphuk to Zutulphuk is the longest distance needs to be covered in a day, the distance is around 18 kms and it takes about 10 hours to cover it. Have meals on the way and stay overnight in the camp.

Day 08: Zutulphuk - Mansarovar -Tirthapuri (2 hrs approx) - Taklakot

After having breakfast, we will move further towards the final destination of the Parikrama, a trek of 10kma/ approx 3-4 hours and from there you will be driven back to Mansarovar. Perform the sacred rituals and the holy bath and move towards Tirthapuri and further to Taklakot. Overnight stay at guest house.

Day 09: Taklakot - Hilsa - Nepalgunj - Kathmandu

It is indeed a very tough journey but it is worthwhile all the pain. Move back to Hilsa by deep and further board a flight to Nepalgunj. From Nepalgunj, catch your flight to Kathamandu and rest overnight in hotel.

Day 10: Kathmandu - Delhi

From Kathmandu, you will board the flight to Delhi for onward journey.
